Sorbus Mixed Species And Cultivars

This mixed Sorbus collection offers the chance to raise individual rowans, whitebeams and related garden forms with considerable variation in foliage, habit and fruit. Seedlings may develop pinnate or simple leaves, white spring blossom and autumn berries in red, orange, yellow, pink or white, often accompanied by vivid leaf colour. Some will remain compact shrubs, while others may become substantial trees. Every plant will be genetically distinct, making careful labelling and selection worthwhile, especially for unusual fruit colour, strong autumn display and good garden proportions.
