Squash Harlequin

Squash Harlequin is a compact winter squash producing decorative acorn-shaped fruits striped and mottled in cream, green, yellow and gold. Each conveniently sized fruit is typically around 500–700g, with moist yellow flesh and a notably sweet, nutty, honeyed flavour that is excellent roasted, baked or stuffed. Sturdy semi-bush plants are productive in modest spaces and show useful powdery mildew tolerance, while sound mature fruits store well after curing in a warm, dry place. It is a rewarding choice for keen home growers. Some variation in fruit may occur.
