Teucrium Flavum

The supplied name Tecrium Flavum is retained, but the plant is yellow germander, Teucrium flavum. This Mediterranean subshrub forms a rounded mound of glossy aromatic leaves and summer spikes of pale yellow, one-lipped flowers, each often marked by a purple base. The unusual blooms are rich in nectar and combine well with silver foliage, grasses and gravel planting. Drought tolerant once established, it enjoys full sun, lean soil and shelter from cold wet winters. All parts should be treated as ornamental rather than edible.
