Tomato Beef Master

Tomato Beefmaster is a vigorous beefsteak hybrid producing very large, fleshy red fruits that can reach around 500g in favourable conditions. The tomatoes have good colour, a satisfying meaty texture and excellent flavour for generous slices, sandwiches, stuffing and salads. This reliable performer is valued for disease resistance and reduced tendency to crack or split, although the heavy crop still needs steady watering. Train the indeterminate plants on strong supports. It is a rewarding choice for keen home growers. (Cordon)
