Tomato Big Mama

Tomato Big Mama is a substantial paste tomato producing long, broad red fruits with thick, meaty walls, few seeds and comparatively little juice. The dense flesh makes preparation quick and gives excellent body to passata, sauces, soups and preserving, while fully ripe fruits are also enjoyable sliced. This vigorous indeterminate hybrid is bred for productivity and needs a sturdy support, regular side-shooting and an even supply of moisture as its heavy crop develops. It is a rewarding choice for keen home growers. (Cordon)
