Tomato Brandy Boy

Tomato Brandy Boy combines the celebrated rich flavour and pink, beefsteak-style fruit of Brandywine with the vigour, yield and reliability of a modern hybrid. Large, slightly flattened pinkish-red tomatoes have juicy, meaty flesh and are superb cut into thick slices for sandwiches and salads. Potato-leaved, indeterminate plants need a strong support and a warm, long season; remove side shoots and keep watering even as the substantial fruits begin to swell. Grow under glass or in the warmest sunny, sheltered outdoor position, tying the main stem to a firm support where required. (Cordon)
