Tomato Cuor Di Bue

Tomato Cuor di Bue is the classic Italian oxheart, forming large, irregularly ribbed fruits that taper towards the base and ripen from green-shouldered pink to warm red. The flesh is dense, meaty and relatively low in seed, with a sweet, rich flavour prized for caprese salads, slicing, sauces and slow cooking. Vigorous indeterminate plants perform best with heat, a long season and strong support, and should be trained as cordons with side shoots removed. Grow under glass or in the warmest sunny, sheltered outdoor position, tying the main stem to a firm support where required. (Cordon)
