Tomato Ravello

Tomato Ravello is a compact-growing mini San Marzano type, carrying heavy trusses of glossy red plum fruits with firm, meaty flesh. The uniform tomatoes are useful for sauces, roasting and cooking yet sweet enough for fresh salads, while good resistance to splitting and blossom end rot supports a dependable crop. Plants remain tidier than many indeterminate varieties but should still be trained vertically, supported and side-shooted as cordons. Grow under glass or in the warmest sunny, sheltered outdoor position, tying the main stem to a firm support where required. (Cordon)
