Trillium Erectum Cream Form

This cream-flowered form of Trillium erectum produces a single nodding bloom above the classic whorl of three broad leaves. Three ivory to pale cream petals surround a raised dark ovary and contrasting stamens, creating a refined woodland display in spring; the petals may develop a pinkish flush as they age. Native forms occur in eastern North American forest, where plants grow slowly in deep humus. Long lived once settled, this selection is ideal beneath deciduous shrubs and should be left undisturbed to build a colony.
