Trillium Erectum Mixed Colours And Hybrids

This Trillium erectum mixture offers a patient grower a varied woodland collection rather than a uniform strain. Seedlings may flower in maroon, red, purple, pink, cream or white, with differences in petal shape, flower posture, scent, foliage and ultimate height. Hybrid influence may add further variation while preserving the characteristic three leaves, three sepals and three petals of the genus. Each plant will be individual and slow to mature, but a mixed group can become a remarkable, long-lived spring colony in deep humus and cool shade.
