Tulipa Tarda Interaction

'Interaction' is a charming dwarf selection of Tulipa tarda, distinguished by green and yellow-striped foliage as well as its low spring flowers. Emerald buds open into neat stars in cream, pale yellow and gold, creating a gentle brightness above the variegated leaves. The compact habit is ideal for containers, rockeries and gravel gardens, where the plant can naturalise into small groups and return reliably. Seed-raised plants may differ from the parent, but offer the possibility of preserving or extending its unusual combination of striped foliage and soft floral colour.
