Verbascum Olympicum

Massive panicles composed of countless golden-yellow flowers adorn this gigantic specimen when it flowers in early summer, atop its strong stems and basal rosette of grey-woolly leaves. Although this large and impressive short-lived perennial sometimes dies after such a show-stopping flowering, it always seem to make enough self-sown babies to keep going constantly in subsequent years.
