Viola 'Patiola Violet'

Patiola Pure Violet is a compact, bushy perennial pansy bred for flowers substantially larger than those of most violas. Velvety blooms range from deep violet to midnight blue, each brightened by a small golden eye above dark green foliage. The series is noted for better summer-heat tolerance than many pansies and can flower from spring into autumn in cool conditions. Excellent for containers, edging and rock gardens, it responds to regular deadheading with a remarkably long display and also provides edible flowers for decorative use.
