Aquilegia Vulgaris 'Alchemist's Gold'
In stock
Description
The distilled essence from our beds of Aquilegia 'Alchemists Mix'. We have separated out the most different and impressive specimens, including dwarf golden and variegated leaf forms, some of which have pom-pom flowers and are fragrant. These utterly new plants are definitely the pot of gold at the end of this line of breeding.
Sowing Advice
Sow immediately at any time onto preferably a soil-based compost, covering with fine grit to approximately their own depth. Germination MAY be quicker if kept at 15 to 20 degrees C. but many seeds WILL NOT come up the year they are sown, needing winter chilling after sowing, and ONLY come up with natural spring germination.
