Description

A rare and narrow-leaved form of this hard member of the pineapple family collected from the southern Chilean Andes. In autumn the centre of the large rosette of leaves turns flaming red around the central golf-ball like cluster of egg-shell blue flower buds.

COVER THINLY WITH COMPOST OR GRIT. KEEP MOIST IN A COOL, COVERED , LIGHT SPOT OUTSIDE. GROW ON INDIVIDUAL SEEDLINGS IN 3" POTS. PLANT OUT IN PERFECT DRAINAGE, E.G. A BANK OR WALL. VERY SLOW TO GERMINATE, MAY BE NEXT YEAR.
