A popular, versatile variety, ideal for successional sowing, which produces large velvety-white, well protected heads with an exceptional flavour. These are great for shows, freezing or eating fresh from the garden as they retain their flavour when boiled or steamed.

Sowing Advice

Sow under glass or cloches from early autumn to mid-winter. They require a temperature of 10-16 degrees C while germinating, but while growing through the winter they can tolerate lower temperatures from 7-10 degrees C. They are also versatile enough to be grown at other times.
