Sow the seeds indoors in seed cells early spring or outdoors in May and early June, one seed per square foot, 1" deep. Transplant the seedlings outside, they do not need to be in a blocks, when about 8" tall and all risk of frost has passed in your area. Sweetcorn plants need a rich, well drained soil.
