Tellima Grandiflora 'Silver Frost'
In stock
Description
This is a brand new, drought-tolerant variety, forms of which are now on sale at high prices, with sprays of green and pink flower opening on arching stems in late spring. The leaves are attractively marked with silver in spring and summer before turning shades of bronze with bright red veining in the autumn and winter. The markings and colours on the foliage of these seedlings will vary so choose the prettiest to grow on.
Sowing Advice
Sow immediately at any time onto preferably a soil-based compost, covering with fine grit to approximately their own depth. Germination MAY be quicker if kept at 15 to 20 degrees C. but many seeds WILL NOT come up the year they are sown, needing winter chilling after sowing, and ONLY come up with natural spring germination.
