Iris Pseudacorus Variegata
In stock
Description
A fantastically attractive variegated leaf form of the Yellow Flag Iris, giving a really impressive foliage display, with the same well known large yellow flowers. Just as easy to grow and best suited for a wet border or pond edge, although it will do perfectly well in ordinary garden soil but will not grow as large as in wet soil!.
Sowing Advice
Sow immediately at any time onto preferably a soil-based compost, covering with fine grit to approximately their own depth. Germination MAY be quicker if kept at 15 to 20 degrees C. but many seeds WILL NOT come up the year they are sown, needing winter chilling after sowing, and ONLY come up with natural spring germination.
