Geranium Lucidum
In stock
Description
Rosettes of small glossy leaves turn bright red with age, with thin stems producing masses of small, bright red flowers, which are produced over a long season. This plant will self-seed forming colonies, so be careful where planting it ,although in a hot and arid, dust-dry place, it is probably the best small geranium.
Sowing Advice
Sow immediately at any time onto preferably a soil-based compost, covering with fine grit to approximately their own depth. Germination MAY be quicker if kept at 15 to 20 degrees C. but many seeds WILL NOT come up the year they are sown, needing winter chilling after sowing, and ONLY come up with natural spring germination.
