Description
A Rijnsburger type that is one of the first varieties to be resistant to downy mildew. Globe shaped bulbs with good quality coppery, golden skin. Fast maturing but slow to bolt, providing early and maincrop harvests with firm flesh that store well.
Sowing Advice
Sow February to April under glass in pots or seed trays. Sow seed on the surface of seed sowing compost and lightly cover with a sprinkling or vermiculite or compost , and place at a temperature of 14°C. Outdoor sowings can be made in April , sow seed thinly in shallow drills 1cm (1/2in) deep, with rows spaced 30cm (12in) apart.
