Digitalis Lanata 'Cafe Creme'
In stock
Description
This unusual foxglove has a beautiful 'Coffee and Cream' colouring. From late spring to mid summer it produces tall spikes of densely packed, fawn coloured flowers each with a pearl coloured, protruding lower lip. Each of the blooms is delicately patterned with pale coffee-brown veins. W, this perennial variety grows to a height of only 60 to 72cm (24 to 30in), and produces many stems which are very suited for use as cut flowers.
Sowing Advice
Sow immediately at any time onto preferably a soil-based compost, covering with fine grit to approximately their own depth. Germination MAY be quicker if kept at 15 to 20 degrees C. but many seeds WILL NOT come up the year they are sown, needing winter chilling after sowing, and ONLY come up with natural spring germination.
