Datura Metel 'Aquamarine'

'Aquamarine' is a compact devil's trumpet with bold tropical foliage and spectacular double, upward-facing flowers. The layered white trumpets are finely webbed, flushed or veined in cool lavender-blue, giving the blooms a soft aquamarine appearance. Flowers open through summer and often release their strongest fragrance during the evening, when they create a dramatic display in a large container or warm border. Fast growing from seed and tender to frost, it can be treated as an annual or overwintered under glass. Its beauty demands caution, as every part is dangerously toxic.
