DELIVERY TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Delivery Speed

When ordering online we aim to ship UK seed orders within 1 to 3 working days to the delivery address provided at the time of ordering, however this may be extended for several reasons such as awaiting more stock to fulfil your order or holiday/bank holiday delays. If this is more than a couple of days delay or we foresee any issues we may contact you via your provided email.

For international orders, depending on your location, shipping can sometimes take up to 30 days to arrive.

Delivery Costs

When ordering online, postage and packing is £2.50 for destinations within the UK (FREE shipping over £25 for UK destinations), £5.00 for destinations within the European continent, and £7.00 for the rest of the world. There is no minimum order. We have tried to keep our shipping costs as low as possible, but due to this you will unfortunately be unable to track your order once it has been dispatched. If you require a more premium shipping method (e.g. one which has Track and Trace functionality), you are able to select this option during checkout, but there is an additional £10.00 charge for this service (Europe) or £15.00 (Rest of the World).

Country Limitations

Unfortunately we are unable to ship to any country in the European Union (EU) or the EEA (European Economic Area) (Note that we can and will ship to Norway and Iceland). This policy will be continually reviewed and updated as soon as it is practical for us to do so.

Additionally we are unable to ship to the following countries: Argentina, Belarus, Brazil, Egypt, Japan, Libya, Mexico, Russia, South Africa, Switzerland, Venezuela.

Overseas Customers

We are unable to provide Phytosanitary Certificates or other declarations. There may be problems importing seeds to your country due to this and other possible restrictions. It is the responsibility of the importer (the customer) to check with their relevant authorities as to the rules regarding importation of seeds and any requirements, as often we have no direct access or communications with local authorities. For example US customers can apply for Small Seed Permits but this can ONLY be done by a US resident/citizen. (Detailed below). We do not assume any responsibility if Customs or similar agencies confiscate or destroy seeds where due diligence by the importer regarding import procedures has not been followed. However, any complete orders that may be returned to us in these cases will be refunded, minus shipping costs and a 30% restocking fee.

For US customers: We advise you apply for a Small Seed Permit (PPQ 587 - Permit to Import Plants and Plant Products) before ordering. This is a link to the US government’s page that might be helpful, as well as the mailing process and shipping label requirements:

US Department of Agriculture

These permits last for three years, also when completing your application if you use the phrase ‘Eligible Taxa’ or ‘Various Taxa’ you don’t need to list the seeds separately but when you apply you will be given access to a database which tells you what can and cannot be imported.

If you choose not to apply for a permit, the conditions above will apply.

If you have applied for a permit or require further advice please email orders@plant-world-seeds.com

Australia, New Zealand and other foreign country shipping limitations

Unfortunately we are unable to ship vegetable or mixed seeds to Australia or New Zealand due to import restrictions. In addition, certain other seeds (generally just very bulky/heavy ones) cannot be shipped internationally. You will be warned during the checkout process of any seeds which we are unable to send to your delivery country. We are very sorry about this.
