Tomato Micro
In stock
Description
Probably the smallest tomato plant ever! Micro can be grown in a 6" pot or window box, growing only 4-5" high, but still managing to produce dozens of tiny fruit. Suitable for people with no growing space, and an astonishing conversation piece. Please be aware that a small percentage of these seeds can occasionally revert to produce a larger plant, so please select the smallest, dwarfest seedlings and reject the larger ones. (Bush) Few seeds produced.
Sowing Advice
Seeds are surface-sown or covered only slightly. Do not allow the soil to dry out. Containers are held in warm conditions until sprouts appear, which may take anywhere from 3-10 days. Move sprouting plantings immediately to bright light conditions, such as a south-facing window. Inadequate light is a frequent cause of failure of young seedlings. At about the time of last frost, set out seedlings into grow bags or small pots. Do not pinch out or remove any shoots.
