Courgette Eight Ball F1
In stock
Description
A delicious and unusual courgette/zucchini variety with a dwarf, bushy habit which will flourish in a large pot filled with rich organic matter. Producing dark green, uniform, round fruits about the size of a tennis ball, it offers good cropping with a high yield throughout the season. Grow as normal courgettes, but do not let them get too big as they taste best when picked small.
Sowing Advice
Very heavy feeders, they need soil heavily amended with manure, compost, or other source of lots of nutrients. Sow in place in full sun after last frost; or start a couple weeks earlier indoors, but never let the transplants become root-bound, and do not disturb the roots in transplanting. Seed are sown up to one inch deep. Grow 4-5 feet apart.
