Description
These jade-pink, elongated cherry fruit possess the superb, rich, sweet, complex flavors of Brandywine combined with the pronounced sweetness of Sweet 100 with which it was crossed. Reputedly it is is difficult for these large, slightly elongated pink cherry tomatoes to make it out of the garden and into the kitchen because of their superb taste. This potato-leafed tomato is a new favourite in the USA and was voted best-tasting cherry type at a tomato convention.
Sowing Advice
Cover seeds only slightly. Do not allow the soil to dry out. Containers are held in warm conditions until sprouts appear, which may take 3-10 days. Move sprouting plantings immediately to bright light conditions, eg a window. Inadequate light is a frequent cause of failure of young seedlings. Around time of last frost, set seedlings into pots. Remove side-shoots and support the plant.
