Geranium Phaeum
In stock
Description
The very dark maroon nodding flowers give this desirable plant its common name "The Mourning Widow". Very popular and deservedly so, this mixture will produce a proportion of plants with attractively marked and variegated leaves.
Sowing Advice
Sow immediately at any time onto preferably a soil-based compost, covering with fine grit to approximately their own depth. Germination MAY be quicker if kept at 15 to 20 degrees C. but many seeds WILL NOT come up the year they are sown, needing winter chilling after sowing, and ONLY come up with natural spring germination. All Geranium phaeum forms have very slow germination. This is absolutely normal and can take up to 12 months.
