Description
Amongst our sizeable collection of superb, but sadly-sterile hybrid irises, we have discovered one particular beauty that occasionally produces just a very small number of fertile seeds. These produce incredibly varying flowers, and have proven to be just as vigorous, as those of their parent, with sumptuous, flamboyant, sometimes doubled petals, These come in a fabulous range of pastels, and mixed blues and pinks, and in rich or moist soil these will truly excel. We are releasing these few unique seeds for the benefit or gardeners around the world!
Sowing Advice
Sow immediately at any time onto preferably a soil-based compost, covering with fine grit to approximately their own depth. Germination MAY be quicker if kept at 15 to 20 degrees C. but many seeds WILL NOT come up the year they are sown, needing winter chilling after sowing, and ONLY come up with natural spring germination.
