LUNARIA ANNUA MUNSTEAD PURPLE
These seeds were collected from the darker-leafed form of this lovely cottage garden plant which is almost too well known to need describing. Its bright pink flower make a reliable display and it happily self-seeds if allowed, producing its dried, papery, ornamental seed-heads every year. It never becomes a problem, and even if it starts to, is very easily pulled out!
For best results, seeds are sown directly into the ground where required in the spring. Alternatively, sow in late winter/early spring in gentle warmth, 15-20 degrees C. Prick out into small 3 inch or 7 cm. pots and plant in final position when the plants are established.
